BOSTON, MA, July 24, 2017 - This summer, Medora is pleased to announce four fellows in the Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C. offices. In addition to excelling academically at Princeton University, Allegheny College, Bowdoin College, and Trinity College, this year’s fellows are involved in a wide range of activities such as college athletics, student newspaper, non-profit volunteerism, and economics. Get to know each of them below:
Maddy is a senior at Princeton University, where she studies English. She is from France, and has lived in the Netherlands and in India. At Princeton, she is the Editor-in-Chief of The Nassau Weekly, Princeton's alternative weekly publication. She is interested in women's rights, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing. Previously, she worked for Guria, a nonprofit that fights human trafficking and forced prostitution, and for the National Geographic-Lindblad Fund as an editorial intern. Maddy supports the Medora Capital team, focusing on i(x) ventures, CARE Enterprises, and Humble Ventures.
Allegheny College 2017
Washington, D.C. Office
Nick is a Fellow at Medora Ventures. Nick recently received a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from Allegheny College with a minor in Philosophy. Nick has done compliance for the legal Kavo-Kerr and Associates, as well as Public relations work for Rasky Baerlein & Associates and Keller Maxson & Associates in the D.C. area. He was also a member of Allegheny's DIII soccer team and still enjoys competing in minor league games. Nick works with the Medora Public Affairs team.
Bowdoin College 2020
Will is a rising sophomore at Bowdoin College. At Bowdoin, he plays on the Varsity Men’s Soccer Team and will likely major in Economics. He is interested in learning about marketing and the business world while interning for Medora. Using his background in soccer, Will is working on the Medora Marketing team this summer, focusing on the Safe Places to Play initiative with the United States Soccer Foundation.
Trinity College 2020
Max is a rising sophomore at Trinity College, where he plays on the Varsity Men’s Soccer Team. He is interested in hands on learning in the start-up business environment as well as marketing strategies while at Medora. Max is currently supporting business development at Medora, in addition to working with one of Medora’s clients, 4POINT4.
